Our client is an international Medical Device organisation who currently require a strong Maintenance Lead to join their team on site in Mayo. Their facility in the West of Ireland manufactures a range of products for global distribution in the Healthcare industry sector. Over the years, their facility in Mayo has been on the receiving end of ongoing investment and expansion. The Role: In this role, you will lead the Maintenance Team to ensure the delivery of Quality, Equipment Maintenance, and Service. The successful Maintenance Lead will be responsible for the implementation of Maintenance related activities to ensure the most efficient production is met. Responsibilities: Act as a driving force within the Maintenance Function to deliver best in class maintenance for production equipment. Work with the Operations teams to implement and sustain planned maintenance systems. Identify and implement maintenance best practices, including predictive maintenance, to maximize production line uptime. Drive OEE improvement to meet strategic goals. Lead engagement with the Maintenance team through ongoing skills development and training on maintenance best practice. Manage performance in the maintenance team to ensure resource use is optimised. Develop appropriate metrics for maintenance and monitor the same. The Person: As the successful Maintenance Lead, you will possess: FÁS time-served Apprenticeship or equivalent. 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of Maintenance Scheduling and Computerised Maintenance Management systems, including planned and predictive maintenance.
