A Global Supply Planning Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Mayo based client. If you are interested in a Global Supply Chain position in Medical Devices then this is the position for you. THE ROLE: * Responsible for managing the Global Supply Network Planning (SNP) process culminating in a SKU level supply plan that balances service, inventory and manufacturing capacity objectives. * Collaborate with manufacturing operations in the development of an agree production plan that supports the supply plan. * Lead the monthly Supply planning meetings, identify and resolve demand and supply imbalances and communicate through the Supply Planning, SOPC and Annual Operations Planning processes. * Measure and maintain Supply Planning performance against a set of world class metrics. * Manage the Global Supply Planning element of the SOP process including the advancement and leadership of monthly Supply Planning meetings. * Prepare PSOP and SOPC Supply Plan summaries highlighting demand/supply imbalances. Execute Supply Planning strategies and initiatives focused on process improvement and standardization. * Lead change management initiatives to create a culture that embraces new global processes. * Manage, develop and oversee the performance of direct reports. * Provide management direction and leadership regarding the requirements definition and design of systems and supply chain processes. * Ensure compliance to detailed project timelines, project plans, budgets, issue/defect tracking, business readiness assessments and documentation. REQUIREMENTS: * BS/BA in a business or math related discipline. * Number of Overall Years Necessary: 8-12. * Overall business experience of 8 years' minimum, with a focus in supply chain planning. * Minimum of 5 years of intensive experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, in a discrete manufacturing environment. * Minimum of 3 years managing and supervising a staff.
