Senior Solutions Architect – Co. Mayo. My client is currently seeking a Senior Software Architect with a focus on brand to make intuitive high level decisions for software development. It is a role that focuses on the customer experience through the use of digital technology and digital transformation methodologies. The Position will require working with the business to develop comprehensive and actionable enterprise solution roadmaps that enable leading edge capabilities in response to their efforts to improve customer experience and enable new ways of doing business. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to take a senior position to lead and build world leading software solutions in a rapidly internationally expanding, indigenous Irish company that trades worldwide in over 80 countries and that has an annual turnover in excess of €130m. Main responsibilities will include: Demonstrate understanding of industry and technology trends related to Digital Enablement and assist senior management in developing strategic vision for the business. Develop the Digital Transformation Journey/Blueprint for customers. Responsible for designing highly available, concurrent, multi-tenant and scalable products for a large global user base. Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility. Drive complex technical projects from the analysis stage through execution. Identify opportunities and methods to improve systems and processes, and manage their delivery. Effectively communicate the strategy and digital architecture and implications throughout all levels of the organization. Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of hands on software development, with 5+ years of experience in technical leadership. Experience delivering large scale web, online, and mobile implementations. Well versed in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies. The ability to recommend and help coordinate quality automation and performance improvements. Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills. Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.
