The E-commerce Specialist is responsible for the management, development and growth of the e-commerce business. Key Responsibilities. Develop and implement an ecommerce strategy. Keep up to date with ecommerce best practice and make recommendations on new digital marketing and ecommerce opportunities. Work with SEO, PPC, Marketing , affiliates and 3rdparty agencies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and grow online sales. Monitor & report on key ecommerce metrics using Google Analytics, SAP. Working with the purchasing dept. to optimise website content, product descriptions and imagery. Handle all ecommerce projects, technical issues, to achieve online sales, customer experience and conversion goals. Work with purchasing dept. to set up and manage online sales promotions/campaigns. Qualifications, skills and experience: Relevant third level degree and/or professional marketing qualification. Minimum 5 years commercial experience in e-commerce with online sales experience. In depth knowledge of ecommerce KPI's, Google Analytics, SEO and Magenta - ESSENTIAL. Ability to operate and influence at a senior level. Project Management experience. SAP, HTML, CMS, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, other relevant programmes knowledge essential. Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. High level of competence in Microsoft Office; particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Good time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain high levels of attention to detail.
