What you need to know. You will work as a CAD Technician and will work for our Manufacturing client in Co. Leitrim . This is a permanent position with excellent opportunities for career progression within a large organization. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities. Manage CAD resources, liaising with designers, consultants and clients with regards to project requirements. Meeting project timeframes and schedules and working as part of a busy design team. Use software to list materials, process reports and create complete packages for Production, Delivery and Installation. Good communication skills to liaise with production engineers and end user clients. Have good engineering basics to design out problems and improve productivity. Quantify projects from detailed drawings, bill of quantities. Prepare tender documents and drawings. What are we looking for? Desirable: At least 2 years’ technical drawing experience. Experienced M&E/Building Service AutoCAD Technician. Strong experience with 2D AutoCAD and 3D Solidworks. Proficient in MS Office. A good team player who works well in a small team environment. Must possess good technical ability and be self-motivated. A good knowledge of the regulatory requirements in which the business operates. Ability to work on own initiative.
